I'm starting to look for a new job. Can you help?
yeah, that's exactly what i'm here for
we were chatting yesterday about backend AI infra roles in NYC — still the direction you're heading, or has anything shifted?
Same direction. Before I sign up, can you show me two roles that look promising right now?
same two from yesterday still hold up: Preference Model and Prime Intellect
Preference Model is hiring backend engineers to build RL environments that teach AI systems to handle real-world tasks.
tiny team, serious technical depth, and the comp ($18k-32k/mo) is the highest explicit range in the batch
Prime Intellect is working on distributed training infra across global GPU clusters, fault-tolerant systems for massive open-source models.
Series A with Founders Fund and Andrej Karpathy backing it, remote-first so NYC works
