I specifically asked a @grok bot yesterday if extra text like "please and thank you" really mattered. It said it's only a few tokens (characters) so it's not like being polite costs me. I type/email like that normally and I understand it's just bits translating my words, but I'll continue on. Plus if the terminators come, hopefully at least they'll make it quick as a nicety to me. 😂
